Graphics are solid, but at parts suffer from soupy textures and a lack of convincing volume. The cave/cliff walls are the worst offenders, though I praise the excellent use of lighting in the caves. Ryuu's character expressions seemed a little over-the-top.

The game sports many quality tracks by Juice, few with which I was very impressed. Player actions are acknowledged with a series of very decent sound effects. The footsteps seemed a little too clicky and soft.

The dialogue is functional, but the story drags the you through a series of events the significance of which never really becomes clear. It cant be helped, but in the absence of any real action, I feel that the game might have done better with a good introduction instead.

The Sin Eternal demo's main point of attraction is that it offers a complete gaming experience. No aspect of the gameplay is whole, but every aspect necessary to create the feel of a full game is included and balanced such that the player can walk away with a good estimation of the author's vision. I feel that this is the ideal function of a demo and that the release succeeds in this regard.
But the game itself seems too restricted to the typical-jrpg model. I understand that sometimes this is the goal, but in the pursuit of a certain brand of style the game perhaps loses a lot of the enjoyability that would otherwise be pres
